With a sea of dog walkers in Fishtown, Jen (the owner) wanted Good Dog! to stand out. The brand needed to convey two key messages: the deep connection they have with their furry clients, and the loyalty they've fostered with their long-term customers.
The brand identity captures Good Dog!'s essence through a warm blue that evokes trust and reliability, symbolizing the unwavering care they provide. A touch of gold adds a subtle hint of exclusivity, reflecting the special bond they build with each dog. Playful secondary marks go beyond daily walks, showcasing their overnight pet-sitting capabilities. Good Dog!'s brand speaks volumes about their commitment.
Capturing both Jen's playful spirit and the brand's sophistication, Good Dog!'s primary logo combined a high-end sans-serif font with a classic serif.
The secondary marks injected some local flavor by transforming Fishtown's iconic landmarks. Penn Treaty Park (above) became "Dog Treaty Park," and other marks like the dog tags or a classic flag (below) added a touch of whimsy.
The business card design (below) struck a perfect balance between playful and premium. A secondary mark was used in lieu of one of the primary marks on the front, while the back proudly featured everyone's favorite pup, upholding Good Dog!'s brand consistency.
Always meeting customers where they're needed, streets signs were used to showcase the intersection of Frankford Avenue - a main thoroughfare in Fishtown - and "Good Dog St". Plus, with their above-and-beyond service, it's clear no one cares more about your furry friend's happiness and safety.
