Hey there! I’m Sophia, the creative behind Freehouse.
I started this studio in 2024 after spending five years working across in-house, agency, and freelance roles - often juggling more than one at a time. Along the way, I sharpened my instincts, learned how to collaborate with all kinds of creative teams, and eventually carved out a space of my own.
Through Freehouse, I help brands show up with personality and purpose - whether that’s through brand identities, websites, or illustrations that help tell their story. I’m especially drawn to working with outdoor-minded organizations, as well as brands inspired by the natural world. I love projects where design helps bring people closer to the outdoors, whether through education, access, or inspiration.
My work is influenced by the clean lines and bold energy of mid-century design, paired with a lifelong connection to being outside. I grew up hiking, exploring, and spending time outdoors, and it’s always been where I feel most grounded. That sense of care and curiosity carries into how I approach my work - collaboratively, intentionally, and focused on creating things that feel expressive and built to last.
